DSL AND CONSUMER FRAUD - DSL Service


DSL CANCELED US THE END OF MARCH 2011 YET WERE STILL CHARGING US UNTIL THE END OF AUGUST 2011. IT TOOK DSL ONE WEEK TO RETURN MY CALL (THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IN THE PHILIPPINES) WHEN I QUESTIONED THE ACCOUNT CHARGE...THEIR ANSWER: "YOU NEED TO GIVE US 30 WRITTEN NOTICE"...WHAT? YOU CANCELED US"....THEY OFFERED NO CONCILIATION. NO GOOD FAITH.
ANYBODY OUT THERE HAVING ISSUES WITH DSL? WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT. AND I WILL BE SURE TO SPREAD THE WORD.........

I used DSL Extreme for about six months, and due to the terrible customer service I called to cancel the service. I was put on "unending hold" on my first two calls, up to 10 minutes each. I had to tell them I was retiring so I didn't need the service any longer before they agreed to cancel the service.

I still got another bill, and fortunately I had the cancellation number, so I'm free of DSL Extreme. Don't use them unless you're a masochist. Dave F.
